Secret Garden is a Buffet & Banquet in Koreatown, Los Angeles, that caters to private events. Its open garden setting was the reason why Sarah Chi chose the venue for her son Dominick’s Dol Celebration. 🙂

Cost:

“Good value for the space and food provided. (Owner was willing to negotiate pricing!) There are also various rooms and settings available at different price settings, allowing flexible budgeting options.”

Ambiance:

“Our chosen area had the feel of rustic vintage with wooden floors, a wooden wall, and a small room on the side with a garden/ sitting area.”

Services & Amenities:

“A self-serve buffet style, with  tables and white linens provided. A set-up crew was also provided.”

Capacity:

“This very flexible venue can accommodate parties from 40 to 300 people, depending on the chosen area.”

Parking:

“Open parking lot with valet service.”

Layout:

“Beautiful, beautiful Dol venue with good layout for a comfortable flow for the guests. We had enough space for the Dol table, a photo booth, a favor table, a Dol photo table, and an area for a professional face painter for the kids.”

Accessibility:

“Easy guest inflow and out, with handicap accessibility. We didn’t have any problems that I can remember”

Acoustics:

“Acoustics suffer a little due to our chosen open space, but small price to pay for the beautiful nature setting. Audio systems are not provided so must bring your own!”

Rating:

8/10. The venue was beautiful but the buffet style food was very average.
